Join us at 5PM on Tuesday, June 10th, for a ‘Tuesday Talks’ lecture with Roald Lokken. Inspired by his volunteering as the re-enactor of Col. Benjamin Godfrey at Chatham’s Grist Mill in Chase Park, Roald has done research on several of the Benjamin Godfreys of Chatham in the 18th and 19th centuries. He will use stories of three of those Benjamin Godfreys of Chatham as a framework to discuss history, war, emigration, commerce, grist mills, genealogy, and property records in Chatham. We can’t wait to see you at this fun and historic talk featuring topics that are close to home! Free for members, $10 for non-members.
