Led by Bruce Abbott and Fred Fried, one of New England’s leading jazz quartets salutes the great pianist Bill Evans. More than a great composer of tunes such as Waltz for Debby and How My Heart Sings, Evans was a master interpreter of the American songbook, breathing new life into standards like My Foolish Heart, The Days of Wine and Roses and the theme from MASH. Please join us in celebrating his great legacy. With Bruce Abbott on saxophone and flute, Fred Fried on 8-string guitar, Michael Lavoie on bass, and Miki Matsuki on drums. $20.
