The pandemic, national trends, and international strife have challenged our ways of being, our sense of connection and our ideas about what really matters.

These challenges have provided us with opportunities for change and a reevaluation of who we are, what we need, and how we live our lives.

In this workshop, we will emphasize the artistic process as we respond to creative prompts. We will deepen our understanding and practice of fundamental art elements, explore different techniques, and further investigate unexpected outcomes in our work.

In class we will share our work, and discuss the process, paying specific attention to what surprised, delighted, and challenged us.  You do not need to be an artist to take this workshop—just a sense of curiosity and a willingness to take risks.
