Step Outside: Plein Air workshop with Betsy Payne Cook

This workshop will provide artists with an introduction to plein air painting to make your time outdoors successful and fun. Essential tips include how to choose a spot to paint, setting up to paint, narrowing the field of vision and examples of thumbnail and value sketches before you begin to paint. You will then have a chance to set up equipment that you bring with you, and we will discuss options that may improve your plein air painting experience.  Participants will have time to sketch and paint.
