Sailors Valentine with Elizabeth Braun

Using traditional techniques, students will have the opportunity to learn the skills needed to create an eight-pointed, star pattern Sailors Valentine.   Additionally, contemporary three dimensional techniques will be utilized to add dimensional interest to the traditional Sailors Valentines.  The patterns provided leave opportunity for individualized personalization. Participants will be provided with an 8” handcrafted, octagon-shaped cherry box, seashells, and the tools and instructions necessary to create a prized keepsake.
