Polar Earth: Portraits of a Vanishing World
May 1, 2019 - June 30, 2019
Naturescape Gallery at the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History is proud to present “Polar Earth: Portraits of a Vanishing World” photographs by John and Pam King May 1 – June 30, 2019. *
Our Earth’s climate is warming at an alarming pace. These changes are forever altering the habitats of wildlife that have lived in the polar regions for hundreds of thousands of years. In recent years we were privileged to journey deep into remote polar regions of the Arctic and as well as the Southern Ocean regions of the Antarctic to witness the changes underway. This exhibition of intimate images takes a closer look at how the amazing creatures that survive are now faring in their rapidly changing environments. ~John & Pam King
