Local author and educator Peggy Jablonski treks through historic neighborhoods and along Main Streets and back roads of Cape Cod confronting social issues at each stop.

Explored are issues of race and slavery, of treatment of Native Americans, gender bias, religious tolerance, social justice, and of environmental stewardship. Guiding participants through nearly 400 years of European settlement and thousands of years of Native settlement, Cape Cod Camino Way is the creation of Jablonski after a year spent walking the entirety of Cape Cod—a serene yet passionate inspiration in the midst of a pandemic. As she explored Cape Cod’s towns and villages along the way, she wrestled with the issues their history presented. “Why didn’t I know this?” was the burning question. Learn how Kennedy’s policies intersect with these issues.

Held in person and by Zoom.
