This is an online workshop on Zoom.
Make fiber jewelry using embroidery, weaving, wrapping, wiring and beading. We’ll repurpose clothing fabrics, novelty fibers, wire and found objects and transform them into enchanting charms.
This will be an immersion of experimentation with technique and material. You will create a series of textile embellished bobbles, a custom chain out of wire and then assemble it all into a necklace, amulet pin and any more combinations that you design. Favorite clothing, special tokens, threads from our secret stash… these are the ingredients of agency that will capture the meaning within your personal talisman.
All levels welcome.
