ONLINE-Visual Journal for Tweens with Jessie Nickerson

This class is for budding artists and/or writers, ages 11-13, who love to tell stories. Students will use mainly visual but also some written components to create their own narratives, fact or fiction. Each class will introduce a new prompt to inspire creativity using different materials and techniques to create dynamic imagery with an emphasis on self-expression. The class will run for two hours and in addition to the instructional component, will include some independent work time. Students will need to provide their own materials, and quiet work space free from distractions.  Click here for more details.
