Join us for a 6 -week Memoir Writing group, to learn how to make those cherished memories and special stories come to life. This may be one of the most precious gifts you can give to your children and grandchildren, truly, a legacy of love. This course will be taught by Kathleen Budreski, who has been helping seniors to write their legacies of life and love, for several years.

At each session you will be guided by a prompt to help “prime the pump”. We will start small with a paragraph or two i.e. What was my favorite birthday when I was a child? We will invite your muse in to help spark ideas that wish to surface. (Yes, we all have a muse even though we may not be aware of it!). It is not necessary to start a Memoir from beginning to end. All life stories link together eventually.

You will be invited to write at home as you have time and desire and share your stories the following week. Beginners and seasoned writers are welcome. We all learn from each other.

This is designed to be an enjoyable and enriching experience.

MATERIALS
Please bring a loose-leaf notebook and pen, so that you can add pages as you continue. Lined 3-hole paper will be provided, participants should bring writing tools, journals or lap-tops if desired. (Some people might prefer writing on devices.)
