Join us as author Nathaniel Philbrick discusses his book, Mayflower. This year marks the 400th commemoration of the arrival of MAYFLOWER on American shores. Learn more about the pilgrims’ journey to America, and their encounters with the Wampanoag people during the five weeks MAYFLOWER was anchored in Provincetown Harbor.

This book was a finalist for both the Pulitzer Prize and the Los Angeles Times Book Award when it was first published in 2006. This year, Penguin has published an updated paperback edition with a new preface (available on the CCMM website). Philbrick is also the author of In the Heart of the Sea, which won the National Book Award for nonfiction in 2000, and was the basis for the 2015 film of the same name, directed by Ron Howard.
