Ink is one of the most versatile drawing mediums there is, from pens to washes to markers! Students will learn about different techniques through demonstration, discussion, application, and experimentation. In this class, we will talk through many varying drawing tools and papers, observe live drawings, and get to test out our own ink drawings and experiment! Excellent for beginners, those looking to expand their skills, or those who love experimenting with new mediums.  Class Fee: $30.00 Non-Member/$25.00 Member

MATERIALS
(Just suggestions, gather what you can but don’t feel obligated to. Michaels in Hyannis is open for curbside pickup)

India Ink (Waterproof preferred) (Higgins is a good brand)

Palette (a palette that has individual holes for ink)

Watercolor brushes, varying sizes

Dip/Calligraphy/pen holder and nibs (Speedball is a good brand)

Brush pen/markers (Tombow is a good brand)

Ballpoint pen

Fine point technical ink pens (Micron brand is good)

Sketchbook or loose paper that is smooth paper

Thicker paper appropriate for watercolor/water mediums

Small items to draw from observation (fruit is perfect)
