Modern Pointed Pen Calligraphy with Liz Roessler

During this workshop, students will learn the fundamentals of the meditative art of pointed pen calligraphy in an inspirational, educational, and fun way. The easy-to-understand instruction is focused on everything you need to get started and enjoy calligraphy: how to properly hold and use a dip pen with acrylic ink, setting up your workspace, healthy ergonomics, patient and personal instruction and focused, specific goals for your practice and project work following class. Liz will guide students through how to practice a complete alphabet and give clear recommendations on how to apply their skills to creating lettering art.
