Members’ Juried Exhibit

The works submitted for this year’s Members’ Juried Exhibition were a collective testimony to the rich, cross-disciplinary community of artists in our region.

Whether driven by color, centered in cultural critique, or resplendent with the evidence of the artist’s hand, these select works on view represent contemporary conversations about process and materiality. They demonstrate the ways diverse styles and mediums can enrich one another. In this exhibition, we encounter themes of anxiety, identity, ecology, and uncomplicated joy in various shapes and forms. This multiplicity of creative expression secures true dialogue in the ongoing conversations about the enduring reach and import of visual art. – Kirsten Andersen and James Stanley
