WHAT TO EXPECT: Chef Nyanyika Banda brings her award-winning and critically acclaimed Martha's Daughter concept to the Cultural Center of Cape Cod for a seasonal pop-up dining series.

Originally created as a celebration of community, culture, and culinary exploration, Martha's Daughter draws inspiration from the many traditions that make up the American food landscape. Menus highlight fresh Cape Cod ingredients while reflecting the diverse cultural influences that shape contemporary American cuisine.

Guests can expect a rotating menu featuring:

  • Handmade ramen and dumplings

  • Street-style tacos

  • Seasonal small plates

  • Local seafood

  • Vegetarian and vegan offerings

  • Creative chef specials inspired by the season

Grab dinner before the concert and enjoy a delicious supper on the patio!

EXTRAS: Chef Nyanyika will also be teaching classes and offering sit-down dinners at the Center.

DON'T FORGET: The pop-up is counter service only. Feel free to bring your own beverage to enjoy responsibly.

CHEF: Chef Nyanyika Banda is a chef, culinary historian, educator, writer, and author of The Official Wakanda Cookbook. Throughout her career she has worked in acclaimed kitchens, led culinary education programs, written extensively about food and culture, and created immersive dining experiences that connect people through storytelling and shared meals.

Her work has been featured by The New York TimesThe Washington Post, NPR, Food52, and Resy. Whether teaching a cooking class, presenting a culinary history program, or serving a multi-course dinner, Chef Nyanyika's goal is to create experiences that nourish both curiosity and community.
