In choosing the theme Longing and Anticipation, so appropriate at the beginning of a new year, the Cape Cod Museum of Art docents selected art from the permanent collection, which expressed a reflection and a sense of reverence, a “longing” for a memory, something in the past. And then, looking forward, they focused on “anticipation,” of a hope or desire being realized sometime in the future.

With the interest of focusing on individual impressions, participation by the class will be a significant aspect of the program, a time to share and exchange perceptions.
