“Loved the beaches, hated the food.” It’s a common complaint made by people returning home after an island vacation. To help those who are desperate to love both we will begin a series featuring different island foods. We will do 4 different islands a night and do 1 dinner a month for 4 months! Tonight to kick it off we will dine on Horta from Crete (steamed wild greens seasoned with extra virgin and grilled lemon), from our back yard a Nantucket Bay scallop ceviche, Ischia will give us coniglio all’ Ischitana (roast rabbit) and finish with pears with ginger, juniper berries, aquavit and caraway cream from Svalbard. We will pour complimentary bubbles to kick off.
