Introduction to Woodturning

Have you ever see turned items, such as candle sticks, ornaments, and pens and wanted to create your own designs? This class will provide instruction on using the wood lathe, lathe safety, turning tools, project design, and turning your own wood creations. Upon completion you will have the knowledge and confidence to begin exploring other shapes and creations.

This class meets in the Maker’s Space & Mentor Studio on the lower level of the Education Wing.

All materials are provided. A $25 material fee is included in the cost of the class.
