The prose of paint and the syntax of mark making: A conversation and demonstration of mixed media drawing on paper, and an attempt to reach back to the instinctual language of mark making to describe the experience of the world nonverbally. Reveal the visceral beneath appearance through the expressive touch of the hand made mark.

Adam Graham spent his early years divided between two of the oldest continuous art colonies in the US; summers in Provincetown where his father was a student of Henry Hensche; and the rest of the year in New Orleans where both parents worked as portrait artists on Jackson Square.
