Foundations Series | Oil Painting: Face Your Fear

Have you ever wanted to learn about oil painting but felt intimidated? This class will inspire you to take the first step.
Students will receive a crash course in the basic techniques of oil painting. No experience necessary as skills will be built from the ground up. You will learn mixing techniques and color studies in the studio and then head to the great outdoors to tackle traditional plein air techniques. The first session will focus on gaining familiarity with tools and techniques. The second session will be outdoors and introduce students to plein air painting. The course will run through basic mixing techniques and color studies with the goal of giving the students confidence to practice on their own.
