Lee Roscoe is an award winning environmentalist and playwright whose film, Four Plays for a Planet in Peril, in collaboration with Janet Murphy Robertson and supported by the Massachusetts Council premiered in part at the prestigious Chelsea Film Festival, this past October. She is a long time freelance journalist, currently a correspondent for Artscope magazine and Provincetown magazine, and the author of Dreaming Monomoy’s Past. Walking its Present. Her decades-long activism and involvement in things indigenous allowed her privileged access for the subject of her talk today, about her new book Wampanoag Art for the Ages, Traditional and TransitionalBook signing available.
