Location: Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, South Wellfleet MA

The Cape Cod Canal is a dynamic and busy system. In the winter, thousands of sea ducks, loons and grebes concentrate in the sheltered waters. Join a Wellfleet Bay Naturalist in exploring the many birding “hotspots” along the canal. Targets include King Eiders, Alcids, Peregrine Falcons and possible wintering songbirds.

Van transportation provided.

Instructions and Directions:
Transportation from the sanctuary is provided. Please arrive and check-in 10 minutes before the program begins. Dress for the weather and be prepared to walk up to one mile. Bring binoculars; we’ll provide a scope.

We will stop for lunch but lunch is not provided. Please bring money or a brown bag lunch.

Please note our cancellation policy: In order to receive a refund, you must notify us of your cancellation at least 7 days before the program begins. If we cancel the program, you will receive a full refund. We reserve the right to change programs, schedules, and instructors, and to cancel programs due to low enrollment or unfavorable weather.
