“Around the Green” Walking Tour

An event every week that begins at 10:00 am on Wednesday, repeating until October 9, 2020
The homes and churches around the Falmouth Village Green have fascinating stories behind them. Learn about one of the youngest master mariners of the time at the 1814 Captain William Bodfish house, hear the 1796 Paul Revere bell ring at the First Congregational Church, and see where Katharine Lee Bates, author of America the Beautiful, was born, among many other interesting stops. Cost $5/person

All tours depart from the Museums’ Hallett Barn Visitor Center at 10:00 am (weather permitting). Please arrive by 9:45 am. Most of the routes are on flat, paved roads. We suggest you wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
