Amazing Astronomy​

Grades K – 4

Let’s explore the skies and learn navigation techniques used by mariners across the

ages! Families will learn how to make a compass, an astrolabe, and an analemma

and learn how these tools are used for telling time, determining the month of the

year, and our location on the globe. Children will learn how to use their own body as

a sundial. Children will take their “tools” home to use all year. Teacher: Larry Brookhart
