All About Seals with Brian Sharp

Join us to hear about some of Cape Cod’s favorite creatures! Learn about the seal species you are most likely to see on the Cape, how IFAW is pioneering new methods of rescuing entangled seals, and what to do if you suspect a seal is stranded.

Brian Sharp is the director of IFAW’s Marine Mammal Rescue and Research program, and oversees international response training. He has rescued countless seals, sea turtles, large whales, manatees, dolphins and porpoises. Brian is one of the few rescue professionals authorized by the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration to disentangle whales in American waters.
