Fridays June 7 – June 28, 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM in the Art Studio
4 classes, $210/$178.50 members

If you’re new to acrylics, come join us in this relaxed and non-intimidating atmosphere of creative fun! If you’re familiar with the medium, join with other creative people, and perhaps learn some new techniques. We will focus on creating movement, energy, and atmosphere in our paintings. There will be ongoing demonstrations, and individual attention and guidance in each class. You will become familiar with color mixing, glazing, brush loading, and how to manipulate the brush with fewer strokes to achieve the desired results. Helpful handouts will be provided and reviewed, detailing the various acrylic paints, brushes, and much more.

Bring a snack for our short break. For a $10 material fee (payable at the time of registration) all supplies will be provided. For those wishing to bring their own materials please see below for the list of necessary supplies for the first class.

Table, floor easels, brushes, and water buckets will be supplied.
