Poets of all ages and experience are welcome to this FREE monthly group workshop. Poets will each bring a new or revised older poem and read aloud. The group will offer reaction and commentary, with the option to pass. Ground rules for the group are simple: as writers we seek confidentiality and accuracy in lieu of harsh critique or false kindness in a safe environment that values thoughtful engagement.
Facilitated by poet Bill Holcombe. Come on in — the water’s fine!
This workshop is free but membership at the Cultural Center is strongly encouraged for participants.Click here for more info!
Bill Holcombe, fully retired, 76 years young, writes and reads poetry in various venues. He believes poetry should be read aloud and heard when possible. Bill has facilitated writing groups in various settings on and off for 50 years. He has been published in obscure quarterlies, the Cape Cod Times, and the Quaker Gazette. His first book will soon be published.
